These are small mules, pulling a sled with concrete blocks in them. Of course they did not pull as many as the guys below.
These guys right here were incredible. I think they got up to about 6100 lbs before they were done.
Now these 2 fellers here were something else. I think Rudy (the mini) was about 30 inches or so, but Shorty (LOL) was 19.2 hands. He was for sale for 7500.00.....(I almost had enough..LOL)
Here is Shorty pulling his wagon. Notice how much taller he is than the wagon. Or heck, even the car...
I thought this little team was too darn cute. This little guy is starting early. He will be as good as his Granddad one day.

I had a wonderful time, and if you ever get the chance to go to Mule Days in Columbia, Tennessee......pleeeeaaaaasssee go. It is awesome.
More to come later......even the picture of the new saddle my sweet Bear bought me. I have been riding horses since I was 3 years old and have NEVER owned a new saddle. I am sooooo excited. More pics to come.
Missed you guys....

Oh Jamie! Thanks for the pix!! Glad that you guys had such a grand time. Can't wait to hear more about your adventures there!
I heart those mini-mules! What fun to drive them! So cute, too!
I like them better than mini-horses for sure!
And SHORTY!!! Shoooeeeee!!! That is one big boy! I'd love to just sit on his back. I'd be so far up there! He makes everything look so small. On a farm I bet he's worth his weight in gold.
Maybe I should consider getting a mule for riding? You don't think anyone would laugh at me right? :)
OH!!! And a new saddle, girlfriend!! Did Christmas come late for you or what????
I can't wait to see it and hear all about it!
As usual it's always great to hear from you, my friend.

Yee haw! that looks like fun. Gonna have to get myself down there one of these days when life isn't so crazy. Maybe I should breed Jane and get me a mini mule!
Glad you are back and can't wait to see that new ride!
Just wanted to say HAPPY EASTER!!

What a great time you must have had!! I love the last little team shot!!
Cowboy has started many a mule and LOVES them! They have a different mind than horses but are made of steal! We had a good friend who used to go the Mule Days in Bishop Calif. I always wanted to go! One mule Cowboy started, ran barrels there for the owner! The video they took was so much fun to watch!
